Meet your Highly Sensitive Hypnotherapist...

That question quietly followed me for years.

I’d find myself overwhelmed in busy spaces, drained after socialising, or spiralling from a single offhand comment. For the longest time, I thought I just needed to toughen up, to be more like everyone else. I used to think I was just "too sensitive" — to people’s energy, to the world around me. I'm a qualified Dispensing Optician, and for 8 years I worked in a public-facing Healthcare setting. While I loved helping people, I often came home emotionally and physically drained. It felt like I was constantly navigating a world that wasn’t built for the way I experienced life.

Then I discovered I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). And suddenly, everything made sense.

Understanding my sensitivity didn’t just help me heal, it helped me thrive.

It’s what led me to train as a Hypnotherapist, so I could help others like you reclaim your nervous system, reconnect with your intuition, and finally stop seeing your sensitivity as something to “fix.”

I made the leap to self-employment last year, not just as a career change, but as an act of self-respect. I wanted to build a life and a business that honoured my sensitivity, not one that constantly pushed me to override it.

Today, I work with deep feelers, over-thinkers, and quietly powerful humans who are tired of living in survival mode. Whether you’re navigating burnout, relationship challenges, negative habits and destructive behaviours, or just want to feel safe in your own skin — you’re in the right place.

This work is personal to me, because I’ve lived it.

And I want you to know: you’re not too much. You’re not broken. You’re beautifully sensitive, and that’s your superpower.

"Why does everything affect me so deeply?"

Why am I doing this work?

Because I know what it’s like to carry things in your body that no one else can see. To feel everything — and not know what to do with it.

Because I believe that healing is possible when we feel safe, seen, and supported — not just in our minds, but in our bodies and nervous systems too.

Because in a world that often overwhelms sensitive people, I want to help create one that supports them.

Like many HSPs, I spent years distracting myself from my feelings — scrolling, staying busy, emotionally checking out — just to avoid the heaviness I was carrying. And in a world that feels increasingly loud, disconnected, and chaotic, I often found myself absorbing the pain in the news and the collective atmosphere. It left me feeling powerless at times. But instead of shutting down, I realised I could offer something healing — something gentle, grounded, and nourishing to counter the noise.

My fascination with trauma and how it imprints on the body has become a deep passion. I’m currently expanding my work to specialise in Trauma and PTSD, with a focus on gentle, body-based healing through Hypnotherapy, Reiki, and nervous system support.

Long-term, my partner Tom (the Highly Sensitive Coach) and I dream of creating retreats. Spaces where people can unplug, reconnect, and feel held in every sense of the word. Whether it’s in the English countryside or under Tuscan skies, we want to offer something that nourishes the soul — mind, body, and spirit.

How can Hypnotherapy help?

Hypnotherapy gently works with the subconscious — the part of you that holds your patterns, beliefs, and emotional memories.

Rather than just talking about what’s going on, it helps you shift what’s happening underneath, where the root of the problem often lives.

If you’re a Highly Sensitive Person or someone who’s experienced trauma, your nervous system might be in a constant state of alert. You might feel stuck in overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or exhaustion from always trying to “hold it all together."

Hypnotherapy can help by:

  • Calming the nervous system

  • Releasing old emotional patterns or beliefs that no longer serve you

  • Reconnecting you to a sense of inner safety and self-trust

  • Creating space between you and the noise of the world

  • Supporting healing from trauma in a gentle, non-invasive way

Hypnotherapy isn't about 'fixing' you - it's about guiding you to rediscover your strength, clarity, and confidence already within you. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and designed to support highly sensitive individuals without overwhelm or pressure. Together we work with your subconscious to create shifts in a way that feels natural and aligned with who you are.

If this resonates, you're warmly invited to apply to work with me.

Through Hypnotherapy, let this be the beginning of the journey of coming home to yourself.
